Haryana TET (HTET) 2026 Exam Notification Overview

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) is preparing to conduct the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026. This state-level examination is essential for candidates aspiring to become teachers in government schools across Haryana. The HTET qualification is divided into three distinct levels: Level 1 (PRT) for classes 1-5, Level 2 (TGT) for classes 6-8, and Level 3 (PGT) for postgraduate teachers. Obtaining an HTET certificate is a mandatory criterion for participating in teacher recruitment drives conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC).

As per the latest updates, the HTET 2026 Admit Card will be released shortly on the official portal. Candidates are required to log in using their registration credentials to download the hall ticket. The admit card will contain crucial information such as the allotted exam center, reporting time, and specific shift details. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center. No candidate will be permitted to enter the hall without these documents.

The examination follows an offline OMR-based pattern consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions. There is no negative marking, which provides a fair opportunity for candidates to attempt all questions. For general category candidates, the qualifying mark is 60% (90 marks), while for SC/PH candidates of Haryana, it is 55% (82 marks). Candidates are advised to keep a regular check on the official website for real-time updates regarding the 2026 session.
