IRCTC North Zone Hospitality Monitor Vacancy 2026

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), North Zone, has officially released the recruitment notification for the post of Hospitality Monitor on a contractual basis. This recruitment drive aims to fill 92 vacancies across various regions including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir. The engagement is initially for a period of two years, with a possibility of a one-year extension based on performance and organizational requirements. Candidates holding degrees in Hospitality, Hotel Administration, or Culinary Arts are encouraged to participate in the walk-in interview sessions scheduled throughout June 2026.

Eligibility and Remuneration

Candidates must not exceed the age of 27 years as of May 1, 2026, though standard government relaxations apply for reserved categories. Educational qualifications required include a full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts, or equivalent degrees from recognized institutions. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 30,000, along with additional allowances such as daily allowances for on-board duties and medical insurance reimbursement. Note that freshers are fully eligible to apply as prior experience is not a mandatory requirement.

Selection Process

Selection will be strictly based on a Personal Interview. Interested applicants must attend the walk-in interview at any one of the designated venues (Delhi, Srinagar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, or Lucknow) with a duly filled application form and original documents for verification. There is no application fee, but selected candidates must furnish a refundable security deposit of Rs. 25,000 via Demand Draft.
