NPCIL KKNPP Category-II Stipendiary Trainee Notification 2026

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released the official notification (Advt No. NPCIL/KKNPP/HRM/01/2026) for the recruitment of 255 Category-II Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/TN) positions at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project in Tamil Nadu. This recruitment drive aims to fill 208 current and 47 backlog vacancies across eight distinct technical trades including Plant Operator, Fitter, Electrician, and Instrumentation Mechanic.

Eligible candidates must possess either an HSC (10+2) in Science stream or an SSC (10th) with a valid ITI certificate in the respective trade. The selection process is rigorous, involving a single-day examination consisting of a Preliminary Screening Test and an Advanced Merit Test, followed by Document Verification. Successful trainees will undergo two years of specialized training with a monthly stipend of up to ₹22,000, eventually leading to permanent absorption as Technician/B at Pay Level 3.
