The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the upcoming Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination for the highly anticipated RRB Group D Recruitment 2025. This significant recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 32,438 Group D vacancies across various departments within the Indian Railways. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications are now preparing for the examination, which is scheduled to take place from 27th November 2025 to 16th January 2026.

The official admit cards for the RRB Group D CBT Examination 2025 will be released approximately four days prior to each candidate's respective exam date. Aspirants can download their hall tickets and check their exam city intimation slip from the official website, indianrailways.gov.in, using their application number and date of birth. It is crucial for all applicants to stay updated with the latest announcements from the RRB and ensure they download and print their admit cards well in advance.

Eligibility for these diverse Group D posts primarily requires candidates to have passed Class 10th High School from any recognized board in India, or possess an ITI Certificate (SCVT/NCVT). The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 36 years as of 01.07.2025. The application process commenced on 23rd January 2025, with the last date to apply online being 01st March 2025. A non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- was applicable for Gen/OBC/EWS categories, while SC/ST/EBC/Female/Transgender candidates paid ₹250/-, with partial refunds upon appearing for the CBT.

The selection process for RRB Group D includes a CBT Written Examination, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification (DV), and a Medical Examination. The CBT will consist of 100 questions across General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness & Current Affairs, to be completed in 90 minutes. A negative marking of 1/3rd mark will be applied for each incorrect answer.
