The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially released the Admit Card for the UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A Typing Test 2025. Candidates who successfully applied for the 930 Computer Operator Grade A and 55 Programmer Grade 2 posts can now download their hall tickets. The highly anticipated Typing Test is scheduled for 21st December 2025, with admit cards made available from 15th December 2025 on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

This recruitment drive, initially announced on 07th January 2024, aims to fill a total of 985 vacancies. The application window closed on 28th January 2024, followed by the written examination on 01st November 2025, and its results declared on 10th December 2025. Aspirants are advised to promptly download their admit cards using their application number and date of birth to avoid last-minute issues. It's crucial to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination center.

Eligibility criteria for the Computer Operator Grade A position require candidates to have passed the 12th examination with Physics OR Mathematics (PCM) and possess an 'O' Level Course or Diploma in Computer Science/IT/Electronics Engineering, along with specific typing speeds (English: 30 WPM, Hindi: 25 WPM). For the Programmer Grade 2 role, a Bachelor's Degree in any stream with a NIELIT A Level Exam or a B.Sc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/PGDCA is necessary. The age limit for applicants was set between 18 and 28 years as of 01.07.2023.

The selection process for these prestigious positions includes a Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Document Verification, Medical Examination, and finally, a Merit List. Successful candidates can look forward to an attractive salary structure, ranging from ₹5200/- to ₹20,200/- per month, with a Grade Pay of ₹2400/-, leading to an in-hand salary of ₹25,500/- to ₹81,100/- per month, plus other government allowances.
