The State Health Society (SHS Bihar) has officially released the Admit Card for the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) recruitment drive for the year 2025. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications for the 5006 ANM posts can now access and download their hall tickets and exam city intimation slips. The admit cards, released on December 11, 2025, are crucial for appearing in the written examination scheduled for December 17, 18, and 19, 2025.

This significant recruitment aims to strengthen the healthcare sector in Bihar by filling numerous ANM positions. The application process commenced on August 14, 2025, with the deadline for applying and fee payment set for August 28, 2025. Candidates were required to possess a 2-year Full Time Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Training Course from a recognized institution and be registered with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council.

The application fee was uniformly ₹500/- for all categories, including General, BC, EBC, EWS, and applicants from other states, as well as for SC, ST, Female, and PH candidates domiciled in Bihar. Age criteria stipulated a minimum of 21 years as of August 1, 2025. The maximum age limit for female candidates was 40 years for UR/EWS and BC/MBC categories, and 42 years for SC/ST categories, reflecting specific relaxations.

The selection process for the Bihar SHS ANM 2025 positions comprises a Written Test, followed by Document Verification, a Medical Examination, and finally, the preparation of a Merit List. The written examination itself will feature 60 questions, all from 'Concerned Subjects,' carrying a total of 60 marks, to be completed within a duration of 120 minutes. Selected candidates can anticipate a monthly salary of ₹15,000/-, in addition to allowances as per government norms.
