The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the Bihar STET Result 2026 on 5th January 2026. Candidates who participated in the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test held on October 14, 2025, can now download their scorecards from the official website. This examination is a mandatory qualification for those aspiring to become teachers in secondary (Class 9-10) and senior secondary (Class 11-12) schools across Bihar.

BSEB STET 2026 Overview

The recruitment process for Bihar STET began with the application window from September 19 to October 5, 2025. Following the examination, the answer key was released in November 2025 to allow candidates to raise objections. The final result now determines the eligibility of thousands of aspirants based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) performance. Candidates can access their results by entering their Roll Number or Application Number along with their Date of Birth.

Eligibility and Selection

Selection is primarily based on the CBT merit, followed by document verification. For Paper 1 (Secondary), candidates required a Bachelor's degree in a related subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed degree. For Paper 2 (Senior Secondary), a Master's degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks and a B.Ed was mandatory. The Bihar STET certificate is a vital credential for the upcoming teacher recruitment phases in the state. Qualified candidates are advised to preserve their scorecards for the document verification stage.
