CBSE Board Result 2026: Digilocker Account Activation Started

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially initiated the account activation process on DigiLocker for students who appeared in the Class 10th and 12th examinations for the 2025-26 academic session. This vital step allows students to access their digital marksheet, migration certificate, and passing certificate immediately upon the declaration of results. According to the latest notifications, the account activation link became active on 14th April 2026, with the Class 10 results expected to be announced on the 15th or 16th of April 2026.

Students must note that the board conducted the Class 10 exams from 17th February to 11th March 2026, while the Class 12 exams were held from 17th February to 10th April 2026. To activate the account, students will require a 6-digit Security PIN, which is typically provided by their respective schools. This digital initiative by the Government of India ensures that students can securely store and share their academic documents in a paperless format, which is legally valid under the IT Act.

To ensure a smooth result-checking experience, candidates are advised to complete their DigiLocker registration early. Once the results are live on cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in, the digital versions of the documents will be automatically pushed to the student's issued documents section. This process eliminates the wait for physical copies and helps in quick admission procedures for higher education.
