The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Computer Science for the year 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1672 vacancies across various categories in the Haryana Education Department. Candidates who have successfully registered for the HPSC PGT Advt No. 23/2026 can now download their hall tickets from the official portal.

HPSC PGT Exam Overview

The selection process for the Haryana PGT Computer Science post is rigorous and involves multiple stages, including a Screening Test, a Subject Knowledge Test, and a personal interview. The screening exam is scheduled for May 17, 2026. Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MCA, or B.E./B.Tech in IT/CS with at least 55% marks, along with having cleared the HTET or STET exam. Proficiency in Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric level is also a mandatory requirement.

Instructions for Candidates

Applicants are advised to download their HPSC PGT Admit Card well in advance to avoid last-minute technical glitches. The admit card contains vital information such as the exam center address, reporting time, and specific instructions for the examination day. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License) to the examination hall. Please ensure that the photograph and signature on the admit card are clearly visible. Failure to produce the admit card will result in disqualification from the examination.
