The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the Admit Card and Exam City Intimation Slip for the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 2,585 vacancies for the Junior Engineer post across various railway zones in India. Candidates who registered for the CEN 05/2025 notification can now access their hall tickets and check their designated exam cities through the official portal at rrbapply.gov.in.

RRB JE CBT 1 Exam Schedule 2026

The first stage of the Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) is scheduled to be conducted on 19th, 20th, and 25th February 2026. The exam city details were made available on 10th February, while the full hall tickets were released on 15th February 2026. It is mandatory for candidates to download their admit cards using their Application Number and Date of Birth. The selection process involves a two-stage Computer Based Test followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination.

Eligibility and Salary Overview

Applicants must hold a Degree or Diploma in Engineering in relevant branches from a recognized university. The age limit for these positions is 18 to 36 years as of January 1, 2026. Selected candidates will be placed in Level-6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with an initial pay scale ranging from ₹29,300 to ₹38,400 per month, plus applicable allowances like DA, HRA, and TA. Candidates are advised to carry a printed copy of the admit card and an original valid photo identity proof to the examination center without fail.
