The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the final results for its Circle Based Officer (CBO) recruitment drive for the year 2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their individual scorecards and the merit list through the bank's official website or the direct links provided below. This eagerly awaited declaration, made on 19th November 2025, marks the conclusion of a comprehensive selection process for a significant number of positions.

The recruitment aimed to fill a total of 2964 vacancies for Circle Based Officers. These positions included 2600 regular posts and an additional 364 backlog posts, offering substantial career opportunities within one of India's leading banking institutions. The application window for these posts was initially open from 09th May 2025 to 29th May 2025, with a subsequent re-opening period from 21st June 2025 to 30th June 2025 to accommodate more aspirants.

Key eligibility criteria for the SBI CBO role required candidates to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university or institution. Furthermore, applicants needed to possess a minimum of two years of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank, or an equivalent qualification. The age of candidates was to be between 21 and 30 years as of 30th April 2025, with age relaxations applicable as per government norms.

The selection methodology adopted by SBI for these posts was multi-phased. It commenced with an Online Test, which included both objective and descriptive components. This was followed by a meticulous screening of applications and documents, an Interview, and a crucial Local Language Proficiency Test to ensure candidates were well-suited for their respective circles. The application fee structure was ₹750/- for General, OBC, and EWS categories, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories were fully exempted from paying any fees.

Successful candidates selected for the CBO position can expect an attractive compensation package. The salary structure includes a gross salary of approximately ₹58,484, with a net take-home pay around ₹50,296.24. This package is complemented by various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and City Compensatory Allowances (CCA), making it a rewarding career path.
