The initial application window for these esteemed positions commenced on 07 January 2024, with the final deadline for online application submissions set for 28 January 2024. A uniform application fee of ₹400/- was applicable to all categories, including General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST candidates, with payment options available through various online and offline channels. The eligibility criteria for these posts varied based on the specific role. For the Sub-Inspector (Confidential) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk) positions, a Bachelor's Degree in any stream or equivalent qualification from a recognized university was required, coupled with an 'O' Level examination pass and specific English and Hindi typing proficiencies (with stenography for SI Confidential). Candidates applying for Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts) needed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification, an 'O' Level certificate, and Hindi typing skills.

Prospective candidates were required to be between 21 and 28 years of age as of 01 July 2023. The selection process for these roles is multi-faceted, encompassing a Written Exam, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), comprehensive Document Verification, a Medical Examination, and culminates in the final Merit List.
