GESCOM Apprenticeship Notification 2026 Overview

The Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (GESCOM) has officially announced the recruitment of Apprentices for the financial year 2026-27. This recruitment drive aims to fill 275 vacancies for Engineering Degree and Diploma holders under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Eligible candidates who have completed their education after January 2022 are invited to apply for this one-year training program located in Kalaburagi, Karnataka.

Eligibility and Selection Process

Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. A mandatory requirement is the ability to read and write Kannada, and preference will be given to candidates residing in Karnataka state. The selection is purely merit-based, calculated from the marks obtained in the qualifying degree or diploma examinations. No written test or interview will be conducted for this selection process.

Application Details

Interested candidates must apply via the offline mode. Applications, either handwritten or typed, must be submitted along with self-attested copies of educational certificates, caste certificates, and character certificates. The completed application envelope should be superscribed with 'For 2026–27 Apprenticeship Training - BE / Diploma holder' and sent to the GESCOM Corporate Office in Kalaburagi. The deadline for submission is June 5, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Note that the training period is for one year, and there is no guarantee of permanent employment post-completion.
