Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-56) Notification 2026

The Indian Army has announced the official notification for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-56) for the course commencing in January 2027. This prestigious entry offers a unique opportunity for unmarried male candidates who have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) to join the Indian Army as commissioned officers. A total of 90 vacancies are available for this cycle.

To be eligible for the Indian Army TES 56 Recruitment, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in PCM in their Class 12th examinations. Furthermore, appearing in the JEE (Mains) 2026 is a mandatory requirement. Selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive four-year training program, including three years at Cadet Training Wings (CTW) and one year at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Upon successful completion, they will be awarded an Engineering degree and commissioned as a Lieutenant with a lucrative pay scale starting at Level 10.
