NMDC Limited Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Notification Overview

NMDC Limited, a premier Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, has announced a major recruitment drive for apprenticeship training for the year 2026-27. This recruitment is specifically for the Bailadila Iron Ore Mine (BIOM), Bacheli Complex located in Chhattisgarh. A total of 180 vacancies are available across various disciplines, including Trade Apprentices (ITI), Graduate Apprentices (Engineering Degree), and Technician Apprentices (Diploma).

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To be eligible, candidates must have completed their ITI, Diploma, or Engineering Degree after the year 2022. Those who graduated in 2022 or earlier are not eligible to apply. The selection process is strictly based on a Walk-in Interview, and no written examination will be conducted. Interested candidates must ensure they are pre-registered on the official apprenticeship portals (NATS for Graduates/Technicians and NAPS for Trade Apprentices) before attending the interview. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their updated resume, passport-size photographs, and original documents along with self-attested photocopies.

Important Walk-in Schedule

The walk-in interviews are scheduled to commence on June 1, 2026, and will conclude on June 11, 2026. Each trade and engineering branch has a specific date assigned for the interview. Candidates must report to the Training Institute at BIOM, Bacheli Complex before 09:00 AM on their respective dates. This is a golden opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in one of India's leading mining organizations. Note that this training does not guarantee permanent employment within NMDC.
