The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially announced the Prelims Result for Officer Grade B Recruitment 2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download their scorecards and check their qualification status. The much-anticipated results were declared on November 11, 2025, on the official RBI website, following the preliminary examinations conducted on October 18 and 19, 2025.

This recruitment drive aimed to fill a total of 120 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’ across various departments, including (DR General), (DEPR), and (DSIM). The application process for these prestigious positions took place from September 10, 2025, to September 30, 2025. Aspirants who successfully submitted their applications were eagerly awaiting this announcement.

Key eligibility criteria for the RBI Officer Grade B posts included a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years) with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or a Master’s Degree (minimum 2 years) with at least 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD) in any discipline for the General stream. Specific Master’s Degrees in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or related fields were required for the DEPR and DSIM posts, respectively. The age limit for applicants was set between 21 and 30 years as of September 01, 2025.

The application fee was ₹850/- for General, OBC, and EWS categories, while SC, ST, and PH candidates had a reduced fee of ₹100/-. The selection process for RBI Officer Grade B comprises multiple stages: a Prelims Exam, a Mains Exam, an Interview, Document Verification, and finally, a Merit List. Successful candidates in the Prelims are now eligible to appear for the Mains examination, scheduled for December 06, 2025 (DR General) and December 07, 2025 (DEPR/DSIM).

They will need their Roll Number/Application Number and Date of Birth to log in and view their results. It is highly recommended to download and print the scorecard for future reference.
