The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the Paper I Result for the Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Examination 2025. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 3,073 vacancies across various departments including Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, and SSB. Candidates who appeared for the computer-based examination held from 09th to 12th December 2025 can now verify their qualifying status through the merit lists released on the official portal.

Next Stage of Selection

Successful candidates in the Paper I examination are now eligible to appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). It is important to note that for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) during the physical tests. Failure to produce a valid license will result in disqualification from the Delhi Police SI preference, though they may still be considered for CAPF posts.

Vacancy and Eligibility Overview

The recruitment offers a diverse range of opportunities for graduates. The eligibility criteria require a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university. The age limit for applicants was set between 20 to 25 years as of August 1, 2025. The selection process follows a multi-tier approach: Paper I, PET/PST, Paper II (English Language), and a detailed Medical Examination (DME).
