SSC GD Constable 2026 Admit Card and Exam Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to release the admit cards for the Constable (General Duty) Examination 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 25,487 vacancies in various forces including CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Candidates who registered between December 2025 and January 2026 can expect their hall tickets on April 24, 2026.

The selection process for the SSC GD 2026 involves a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. The CBT is scheduled to be conducted from 27 April to 30 May 2026 in multiple shifts. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of their hall ticket along with a valid original photo ID proof to the exam center. Discrepancies in the admit card should be reported immediately to the respective SSC regional offices.

How to Prepare for the CBT Exam

The online examination will test candidates on General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and Language proficiency (English or Hindi). With a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every incorrect answer, candidates must focus on accuracy. Ensure you reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your SSC GD Admit Card 2026.
