UPPSC Assistant Teacher LT Grade Recruitment 2025 Overview

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the recruitment notification for 7,466 Assistant Teacher LT Grade positions. This recruitment drive aims to fill teaching vacancies across various subjects in government secondary schools throughout Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who successfully cleared the Phase I (Preliminary) examinations are now eligible to appear for the Mains Examination. The commission has issued the admit cards for the upcoming Phase II and Mains subjects scheduled for May 2026.

The selection process is rigorous, involving a preliminary screening followed by a comprehensive subject-based mains examination. Eligibility requires a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed degree. Applicants must have completed their One Time Registration (OTR) on the UPPSC portal to proceed with the application and admit card download. The age limit is strictly set between 21 to 40 years, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per state government rules.

Currently, candidates can download their Mains Admit Cards for subjects including Mathematics, Science, Home Science, Agriculture, and Horticulture. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of the hall ticket along with a valid ID proof to the examination center.
